Larry Moses – President

Larry Moses founded Lend A Hand Therapeutic Riding Foundation in 2007, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.  The foundation’s original mission was to financial assist families whose children received therapeutic riding at the former ‘for profit’ business at Lend A Hand Horse Farm.  In 2008, Larry and his wife unexpectedly found out they would be having triplets.  Their blessing came with the acknowledgement that Lend A Hand Horse Farm would no longer be able to operate its therapeutic riding program.  The couple turned to the foundation and the board members that came here after, to change the foundation’s mission and allow it to serve the RI community as a non-profit business offering therapeutic horse riding under the care and supervision of its board of directors.

Tom Citak – Vice President

Tom joined Lend A Hand Horse Farm in 2007 and was instrumental in helping to form the organization known as Lend A Hand Therapeutic Riding Foundation.  As Vice President he began creating fundraising activities, contacting media, obtaining equipment, and procuring volunteers for special projects and events.  It gives him great pleasure to see the progress that Lend A Hand has demonstrated by improving the quality of life for these children.  His passion for horses has always been an active part of his life.

Jessica Moses – Executive Director

Jessica Moses started the therapeutic riding program at Lend A Hand Horse Farm in 2004.  When Lend A Hand Foundation transitioned control of Jessica’s program in 2008, Jessica became the foundation’s executive director of operations.  As executive director, Jessica manages the foundation’s program and ensures that its therapists, volunteers, and horses continue to work together to the best of their abilities in providing the best possible service for its community.

“My goal is to help fill the need in providing improved financial reporting and tracking to assist the Foundation’s efforts to secure future grants and donations.  My focus will be on applying my skills and knowledge to enhance every opportunity to augment contributions to the Lend a Hand Therapeutic Riding Foundation.  I feel thrilled and honored to be able to make a contribution to this amazing organization.  It is my hope that LAH will be able to utilize my professional experience for growth and future financial support.  I look forward to be touching the lives of the many people Lend a Hand touches every single day.”

Jaimie Jusczyk – Director

Jaimie started out as a volunteer side-walking for the lesson program in 2008. Having moved to Rhode Island the same year, Jaimie enjoyed meeting new people and helping local children while sharing her life long passion for horses. Working on the website and social media for Lend A Hand, Jaimie hopes to help broaden awareness and participation of the therapeutic riding programs offered. Jaimie joined the board in 2011.

Charly Totoro – Director

Charly became involved first, as a participant in the golf tournaments because his grand daughter was riding at Lend A Hand. When introduced to exec. director Jessica at an after tournament dinner they spoke at length about his granddaughter’s progress as though she were the only client. Charly decided then to try to help out because he believes in what Lend A Hand is doing. Charly joined the board in 2011.
