Haflingers were originally developed to work in the mountainous regions as pack horses and for agricultural work. Born in 1995, Tommy Girl is a Welsh/Thoroughbred. She is taller than the ponies and is a favorite horse for young riders, since she trots and canters well and is easy to steer. Tommy Girl loves carrot snacks, but she gets sick if she eats apples.
